The Christian Home  Educators Fellowship of Baton Rouge is a support organization for Christian families who educate their children at home. Participation in CHEF provides opportunities for families to connect with other homeschooling families for mutual help and encouragement. CHEF and its members offer a variety of educational and social activities, classes and clubs, as well as a competitive sports program.

CHEF of Baton Rouge is an affiliate of CHEF of Louisiana, which sponsors the annual State Convention and Book Fair, provides timely news relating to home education, and watches the state legislature and state agencies for legislation and policies affecting home education. www.chefofla.org  Homeschoolers in tahe Baton Rouge area are directed to join CHEF of Baton Rouge using this website, www.chefbr.org
